Admission Procedure

To be admitted, applicants must pre-register and participate in the admission process. To register, please call: (010) 42 22 17 or (091) 23 29 51, providing the student’s full name, current school number, email address, and phone number.

As a rule, the school organizes admissions for the 1st, 6th, and 10th grades, as well as for the 1st year (11th grade) of the International Baccalaureate (IB) program. If other grades have available spots, an additional admission round is organized at the end of the school year, open to all registered applicants.

Applicants to the 1st grade participate in preparatory classes (up to 6 sessions). After completing the course, children attend an interview. Admission decisions are based on the results of both the preparatory sessions and the interview.

For 6th grade applicants, preparatory courses are organized in “Mathematics,” “Armenian Language,” and “English” (around 12 lessons per subject). After completing the course, applicants take exams, and admission is based on the exam results.

Admission to the 10th grade is based on academic streams. Students select their preferred stream and attend preparatory courses in three subjects approved for that stream (up to 12 lessons per subject).

PhysMath stream — Armenian, Mathematics, Physics

ChemBio stream — Armenian, Mathematics, Chemistry

Economics stream — Armenian, Mathematics, English

Humanities stream — Armenian, Mathematics, English

After the courses, students take exams and attend interviews. The final selection is based on their performance.

Preparatory courses and exams are organized so as not to interfere with regular school lessons.

For admission to the International Baccalaureate (IB) program, students take exams in “English” and “Mathematics” and attend an interview.
10th grade students may apply for IB preparatory courses at the beginning of the academic year. To register, please call: (010) 42 22 17 or (091) 23 29 51.

Typically, IB entrance exams are held in July.

Gifted Children Contest

Since 1996, Quantum College has held a traditional event known as the Gifted Children Contest, organized jointly with Yerevan State University.

The goal of the contest is to identify talented students and support their further education. Pupils from grades 5 to 9 from any region of Armenia may participate. The contest is held in mathematics in two stages — written and oral.

The jury consists of leading specialists from YSU and Quantum College. Interestingly, winners often include not only students from Yerevan but also participants from regional schools.

Winners receive the opportunity to study at Quantum College starting in September under preferential conditions, as well as within the International Baccalaureate (IB Diploma Programme).

Students who have received diplomas in regional or national mathematics olympiads are granted additional privileges.

Many contest winners later join the school’s olympiad teams and successfully compete in both national and international olympiads. Most continue their studies at leading universities around the world.

Starting from the 10th grade, the school offers four streams — physical-mathematical, chemical-biological, economic, and humanitarian. In the 11th grade, a fifth — international (IB) — stream is added. In the international stream, studies are conducted under the IB Diploma Programme: Armenian subjects are taught in Armenian, and four subject groups are taught in English.

Graduates of the IB Diploma Programme can be admitted to several top universities worldwide without entrance exams, based on their diploma scores.

The “Gifted Children – Quantum 2025” contest will take place on May 4 and 9, 2025.

Free preparatory classes will be held in March and April 2025, and the online course will start on November 25 of the current year.

To participate in the contest or preparatory classes, please call: 010-42-22-17 or 091-23-29-51 (Monday to Saturday, 09:00–17:00).

Application deadline: 20.04.2025.
